Kherson flood

On June 6, 2023, the Kakhovka Dam on the Dnipro River, which formed the Kakhovka Reservoir in the lower reaches of the river, was destroyed. This destruction led to widespread flooding downstream, as the river's flow direction essentially changed to the southwest. The Universal Aid Ukraine team was on site for seven days to provide emergency relief. We primarily distributed medicines to affected civilians who had lost their belongings, as well as to areas that were only accessible by boat due to the flooding and were cut off from supplies.
